"Tuesday- Two Day"- series 1

Working a standard 40 hour- 8-5 work environment can be monotonous.  I have taken it upon myself to break up the work week, by dedicating Tuesdays to venture out of the office to explore something new about Dallas.  Whether is be a park, church, gallery, shop, or even a new eating joint.  Perhaps  can start a series about my ventures.

Last week a co-worker and I discovered the Talley Dunn Gallery.  This modern eclectic space has you fooled from the outside as you venture though the split space gallery with rotating collections.  This month, Dale Chihuly has his custom glass art pieces and paintings exhibited within the main gallery.  Keep in mind the exhibit is in a petite space, so do not expect to see something like what was installed at the Dallas Arboretum.

The Talley Dunn Gallery is located tucked between the West Village and Highland Park area of Dallas being a mere 10 minutes away from where I work- being perfect amount of time to see the entire space- including making a wrong turn.

Parking is easy, and the docents and admin. are very friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibits.  Although the exhibit is opened from 10am-5pm Mon-Sat- its definitely something worth taking 30 minutes to see- Plus It's Free!
