UnBELIZEable Time

UnBELIZEable Time

I find it hard sometimes to sum up a trip especially just hours after arriving home.  My husband and I just came back from our first solo trip out of the US to Belize.  We were only there for 3 full days, which I feel was not enough time. Belize may not be the less expensive trip I have been on, but it is one of the easiest- convenient, and more relaxing places to travel.  Knowing that everywhere takes US Dollars made the trip stress free, knowing we did not have to worry about exchanging currency.

Happy Belated New Year

2015 was a pretty dang good year for me.  I traveled some of the US, ran my first half marathon, celebrated 2 years of marriage, switched roles at my job- for the better, and ended the year with closing on a house!

I cannot wait to see what 2016 has in store for me!

Home Sweet Home

After years of apartment living, WE BOUGHT A HOUSE in Dallas!

Buying your first home is a lot more work then anyone could ever imagine.   I feel as though nobody really prepares this journey for yousince every case is unique.  With the housing market doing so well, it was rather difficult to find THE ONE.  It's almost like speed dating, with a huge price tag.  You fall in love with a place, and unless you are willing to make an offer on the spot, the house may be picked right up before you say "let me think it over."   Needless to say, we are beyond thrilled to become official Dallasites and look forward to moving over the new year!
